An open beta, as trailered above, will launch in late August for Killzone Mercenary. Players will be able to indulge in the multiplayer proportion of the game. This will come as good news to those that have missed out on the closed beta.
PlayStation users were also able to sign-up for the closed beta from the 12th to the 17th of July. This has since now closed, and the participants chosen. Judging from my email inbox it seems I sadly won’t be participating until the open beta arrives.
In the meantime, however, you can read (and watch) our glowing preview of the game.

According to the EU ps blog the emails haven’t even been sent out yet, so unless they’ve been sent out in last couple of hours then participants haven’t been chosen yet
There are 3 different phases and as of Monday the 1st phase was still underway, it’s the 2nd phase that relates to the recent sign up linked through the blog. and the 3rd phase is late August.
I only know all this as I’ve been constantly checking the blog/email/google for news. I’m stupidly excited for this game, hope I get in the beta

So it seems they ARE now being sent out.
Really really hope I get one!, this is my most anticipated game of the year
