Monster Hunter Frontier G, an online iteration of the franchise will be heading to PS3 and Wii U on November 20th and December 11th respectively in Japan, according to Famitsu.
The game already released on Xbox 360 and PC earlier this year and comes as a free download, although a 1600 Yen subscription fee will be charged each month – that’ll roughly translate to between ten and fifteen pounds sterling.
A “Beginners Pack” will be available at retail, which appears to include bonus weapons and armour, though there’s no details whether the 6090 Yen it costs (around £40-45 – yikes!) will cover a period of subscription too.
The game will have a free trial period one week before the game’s full launch, and will have full GamePad support on the Wii U. It does sound like quite an expensive endeavour, however.
