It’s time to dust off those shelf-dwelling handhelds as Sony announces big discounts across a selection of PSP/Vita titles.
With 14 games on the list we’d hardly call it extensive yet some of the reduced titles are among the best available on Sony’s portable hardware. These include the fabulous Thomas Was Alone (our review), as well as Final Fantasy Tactics and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, all of which are under a fiver.

We’re sure a few punters will also be enticed by Peace Walker and recent 2-D brawler, Guacamelee! especially with the added discount for Plus members.

I’m considering Disgea 3 but not sure about if I’ll have time to play it with my massive backlog.
Adam Guest
Is Peace Walker the PSV version? If so, grabbing that.
Germanos
Same question is MGS:Peace Walker(available in this SALE) the HD version or the PSP version ?
Taylor Made
There is no psv version, it’s the psp one but it’s good graphics still on vita, just like the God of war psp quality on vita
Germanos
What about the controls? Will I be able to use both analogue sticks in game? Sorry, if the question is stupid, never played a PSP game on PSV.
Taylor Made
Yeh you can assign a second analog, just hold the screen till you get option to do so
ron_mcphatty
The aiming maps well to the right analog stick. The PSP’s face button aiming worked really well so it actually feels alright on Vita, even though its not analog. For a PSP game, it’s incredible, very high production value!
Germanos
Thanks :)
Jim Hargreaves
There wasn’t a PSV version of the game to my knowledge. The PSP version will still work nicely on Vita, however.
Starman
Not a bad sale but some of these games have been on sale half a dozen times now.
matthangzhou
Yeah was looking at Guacamelee but it was on sale recently for exactly the same price.
Youles
Possibly FF Tactics to add to my FF digital collection I think.
I’d encourage anyone to buy Guacamelee, one of my favorite games in the past year or so!
Dan Jones
Only £2 saving on Guacamelee? Was hoping it would be more, guess I’ll wait.
KeRaSh
Yup, I would have jumped on this if it was around 7-8€.
Not because I think it is undervalued at 10€, but because I know I’m probably not going to play it in the near future anyways…
ron_mcphatty
I hope this isn’t a stupid question, is the discounted Thomas Was Alone cross-buy?
Dan Jones
The game is cross-buy so I would assume so.
