Speaking at Gamescom earlier, Microsoft announced that Ubisoft’s latest Tom Clancy game, The Division, will be getting exclusive content for Xbox One – although, crucially, they forgot to tell us what this might be.
Given that both companies already discussed the game’s Smartglass functionality at this year’s E3 event – which allows players to assist squads and affect games on the fly – perhaps this is Microsoft’s unique selling point, then again, perhaps it’s yet another exclusivity deal for DLC. Yay, another map pack.
We’ll surely find out more details nearer the game’s release, at the tail end of 2014.
Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and, as we revealed earlier, PC.

So essentially, they’ve agreed how big the money truck is with ubi, but not what they’re getting in return.

Get the feeling this is going to be another ps2 v Xbox generation. Microsoft trying to buy their way in again. Probably due to poor preorders.
