A day late, since everyone except us decided it would be a good idea to take the day off due to the banks doing the same, but the charts are finally in. The new number one game in the entire of the United Kingdom is Saints Row IV. Great!
It’s another new entry at second, with Splinter Cell: Blacklist taking up the runner-up spot, while Disney Infinity seems to have done well too, coming in at third place.
What is disappointing is how PayDay 2 has dropped all the way from first to eighteenth and how, despite being a new and well received release, The Wonderful 101 could only manage to reach number 22.
The top ten is rounded off by the usual Minecraft at fourth, Call of Duty at fifth, Animal Crossing at seventh, The Last of Us at its lowest ever position in ninth and new entry The Bureau: XCOM Declassified at tenth. Which did you buy this week?

Never played a Saints Row game but was tempted by IV, but got a few games already on pre-order plus PS4 so wouldn’t have the time to play it.

Will be interesting to see how Disney holds up over the next few weeks. Can see it being a chart regular.

Agreed. Kids and collectibles, especially Disney, can only be a sure fire winner.

It’s not just kids. My wife will be buying the add-ons for herself. She loves anything Disney.

The Last of Us will jump up again I think. Price has finally gone down a little (online at least). Still need to pick that game up…

Since reading the review here I must say that I’m really tempted to get The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

Had my first try of Saints Row game last night (no 3 on PS+). Always thought SR was a cheap replica of GTA but its amazing how much better than GTAIV it is so far. Played a few hours and never laughed at a game so much. Its like they took everything decent from GTA and took out the garbage. Will definitely have to try SR4 at some point.
Thanks PS+ :-)

Disney Infinity could actually have been more along the lines of what Sony could have made for Playstation Mashup game.
