As well as the earlier PlayStation Plus additions, the PS Store update brings plenty of new content across PS3 and Vita for you to spend your money on.
Firstly, there’s the PS3 big titles available now in the form of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – which you can buy the standard edition of for under £30, or the collector’s edition for just under £40, Persona 4 Arena for £40 and Port Royale 3 for £31.99.
Then there’s the games that will become available on Friday, including Killer Is Dead, which is rather pricey (for a 5/10 game) at £49.99, Lost Planet 3 for £39.99, One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 for the same Killer price and Rayman Legends – which we scored 9/10 in our review – at the agreeable price of just £34.99, though you’ll still find retail copies for £5-10 less.
There’s also a new Visualiser app which is a bit late into the PS3’s lifecycle, as well as demos for PES 2014 and Puppeteer, which was previously exclusive to PlayStation Plus users.
Plenty of Vita content this week (aside from Rayman Legends!) with Spelunky for £11.99 with 20% off for PS+ subscribers, which is also on PS3 with cross-buy, Breakquest: Extra Evolution Freemium, Mahjong Royal Towers, Real Boxing for £7.99, and the Killzone: Mercenary Open Beta is finally open to everyone!
There’s also a PSP title, if you’re into that, in the form of Sweet Fuse: At Your Side. We didn’t receive review code for this game, unfortunately.
In terms of DLC, there’s the usual plethora of content, including items for Dynasty Warriors 8, Saints Row IV and Snowy: Treasure Hunter. The full list is over on the PlayStation Blog.

…and not forgetting the entirely shite collection of shit-piece avatars.
I might try the Visualiser app! Other than that there’s not much that interests me apart from the PS+ stuff.

Woah, woah, woah, woah, WOAH! Collectors edition, on the Store? That is just baloney. How can you have a digital version of that? Seems silly to me.
Youles
Indeed – perhaps “Complete” edition would be more accurate, if it comes with various DLC or a soundtrack. Can you deem anything digital as “collectable”?! ;)
Spence1115
The Limited/Collectors Edition title has been used for digital stuff on the PC for ages now, and whilst its ridiculous (oh some limited edition artwork you say? Copy paste…) its not exactly new.

If you are referring to FFXIV then in this case that version comes with bonus ingame stuff that is unavailable to players that bought the standard edition.

Cant find the PES demo on the web store
Forrest_01
Why would you? I haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere?

as well as demos for PES 2014 and Puppeteer

I was supposed to put that in quotation marks, like this:
“As well as demos for PES 2014 and Puppeteer”
Forrest_01
Ah, fair enough – Missed that.
I’ll help you out with that though… It’ll be exactly the same as PES 13 with different hairdo’s. :)

Rooney’s new perm available as DLC?
Jakster123x
Saying that though, I checked the official store update and I can’t see any mention of it…

Strange how some digital games get the 50 squid treatment yet others are more sensibly (not perfectly) priced. I wonder if they use random.org to set the pricing or maybe names in hat, prices in tub, pick one from each container….bingo!

Loving the Killzone Mercenaries beta, played the PS+ all week and it’s convinced me to preorder the full game. Recommended to anyone who hasn’t tried it

Picked up Spelunky… Played the demo and got to the Jungle on my third try and now I’ve been unable to reach it in the full version after 20 attempts…

Spelunky trial is excellent, I don’t normally have much patience with games and my gaming skills are poor, for some reason i find this game utterly compelling
