When Sony said it “hearts” indie developers, the company wasn’t blabbing nonsense. Since the PlayStation 4’s announcement earlier this year we’ve seen dozens of indies flock to Sony with great game ideas, both new and old.
Though E3 had its fair share of indie announcements, it was Sony’s Gamescom presser that really threw down the gauntlet. Announcing titles such as Volume, Rime, Resogun, and more, there were so many games revealed in such a small period of time that our news team had trouble keeping up.

Even now, as the dust begins to settle, Sony is still recruiting talent, the latest being developer Spry Fox (Triple Town).
Their latest project, Road Not Taken, is a rogue-like puzzler inspired by the iconic Robert Frost poem. The game will feature hours of randomly-generated content, keeping players on their toes at all times. The element of surprise, Spry Fox state, is very much at the centre of the experience.
There’s no word on a release date though Spry Fox has confirmed the game will launch on PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, and Mac.

I know indie games won’t refloat the Vita( was it ever afloat?) but personally I love them and they all really make me want to get a vita (waiting for Terraria to come out)

The last 5 games I’ve bought for the Vita were all Indie games and they’re perfect for the platform. I personally don’t need AAA on the Vita. That’s what I have a PS3/4 for.
