Over the weekend a new trailer for DriveClub was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, this one looking at the Mercedes Benz AMG line. There’s not really anything new here from previous trailers but the quality of the trailer, especially in 1080p, is simply astounding. The little details make this trailer with dust trails kicking up as a car turns a corner, and the quality of the lighting and shadows is great. I honestly can’t wait to play this on launch day thanks to PS Plus edition.
Whether the final product will reach 1080p at 60FPS is still unknown, though Evolution Studios are working to achieve that. At the moment though as long as DriveClub looks this good when released I’m not too bothered if it doesn’t quite reach that target.

Pretty visuals but it still needs that 60FPS rate. Racing games are so clunky and sluggish at 30FPS.

It’s not all about the visuals. It can look pretty in pink, but if the gameplay stinks then we’ll all move along quite quickly.

Not sure why they would go on about the 1080/60 stuff so much, if they don’t achieve it won’t it be a bit of a let down. Not to bothered my self but some might.
