A patch for Killzone: Mercenary has been issued and you’re going to need to clear another gigabyte off your memory card to install it. However, once the patch has installed the old patch will be removed, freeing up the space again.
“We’re currently investigating solutions to reduce the overall size of the title and free up more of your valuable memory card space,” explains Guerilla’s Matt Porter. “We hope to be able to share more news on that work very soon. However, it seems unlikely to us that the overall size of the downloaded game, plus the patch, will ever be under 4GB.”
The patch should help with connectivity issues, provide a better distribution of respawn points, and help with loadout slots.

It defo needs the spawning improved!! Seemed slightly better this evening.
Apparently they are also looking into solving the issue where you can’t join friends on the same team; and the server stats syncing issues where they aren’t up to date!

I hope it fixes the connectivity issues; I loved the Beta and bought the full game on the back if it but think I’ve managed to play it online three or four times due to not being able to connect to the server

Finally got around to buying this. Not played it yet. At least (hopefully) I’ll get the best experience!

Love this game, but thank god it deleted the first patch on my poor 8gb mem card. May never be able to get through the plus games one at a time!

It’s good to hear that they understand the value of space on the memory cards.Let’s hope they manage to sort something out.I’ve not got round to buying this yet but from what i’ve heard it’s pretty good.

Decent enough game. Looks fantastic but does not play as well as I had hoped. Glad they have this patch ready tho. Hope it fixes some of the online issues
