Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, has been asked on Reddit if Titanfall was a timed exclusive for Xbox One.
His answer was rather cryptic, but did imply that Microsoft is not paying for the game to be exclusive to Xbox One. “As far as being an exclusive that’s really a question for Titanfall – I’m not worried about it though,” he said.
Perhaps he’s not “worried about it” because the PS4 version will launch after the Xbox One version, perhaps he’s “not worried about it” because there is no PS4 version, although that seems rather unlikely, EA are no longer in the business of making hugely expensive games as console exclusives.
EA boss Frank Gibeau recently said ‘The shooter rotation we think about now is Battlefield, Titanfall and Battlefront, and so we like those three brands going forward.”
Respawn have also said “We’re a very small team, so we had to pick a platform if we were going to be on consoles, and Xbox made the most sense.”

It’ll be on Ps4 for sure, the question is how far behind. I’m personally looking forward to the Pc version for now.
What I’m interested in though, is if it’ll be possible to transfer your save, cross platform through your EA account. That’d be sweeeet.

You are going to wait months for a price drop because Origin is crap? That makes perfect sense, what also makes sense are people still bleating on that Origin is crap when it isn’t.
I remember the early days of Steam and how everyone was losing their minds on how sh*t it was and now look at it!

I love how out of touch the devs are. So funny that “they needed to pick a platform and xboxone made sense.” I really wonder how they got to that conclusion, considering what we all know now about both platforms. It’s funny because they must know that ps4 is going to outsell xbone 4 to 1 on launch, so how his makes financial sense is beyond me. Are they stupid or is this all just marketing spin?
