These new PS4 UI walkthroughs show the PlayStation Dynamic Menu in detail, and it’s looking quite slick, if a bit disorganised still. The first shows the menus, friends list and what your profile will look like:
Secondly, this walkthrough shows DVR/Twitch video features, some Knack gameplay and the new PlayStation Store, as well as video apps:
Finally, this last video is all about Remote Play and how it works with the system:
It’s very exciting now, the PS4 is just a couple of weeks away for us in the UK, or just days if you’re in the US.

I hope you can mute the sound when scrolling, it’s so annoying. Also wish you could customise what u want to appear on the main screen

Remote Play looks so easy to use!

A few things…
1. Please let me turn off those annoying menu click and whoosh sounds. 1st thing I do with a new phone is turn off the touchscreen sounds.
2. I’m not sure about the legitimacy of the video when it shows the PS Store and items load up on screen in less than 30 seconds. Very unusual.
3. I also hope there’s a way to remove all facebook interaction/options. I’m not on facebook and have no intention of being on it. I last saw my mates a couple of days ago, they remembered me from a few days previous to that and they’re almost certainly not interested in seeing photos of my dinner or my son in his school uniform. Besides, I ain’t got time for facebook because I go to work.

I don’t want all that Facebook crap either. I deactivated my Facebook account a couple of years ago as I was fed up of seeing pictures of someones pet kitten and being informed people were ironing only to then be bombarded with invites from people challenging me to beat there score at pig farming.
On a plus note, Natalie Campbell looks alright. Might send her a PSN friend request when I get home.

Only if I can have the hot beardy chap.

Deal. I’ll go fish out my balaclava and rope from the basement.

I also quit facebook about a year ago and can’t be happier about it. But I also want to be able to use a picture and change my name on the PS4. I wonder if twitter account settings can be reflected instead of facebook (the user guide says facebook)… At least twitter isn’t as an annoying and time sucking son of a mother as facebook.
I also hope that Sony incorporates Youtube uploads at some point.

Read in a review that the only way to use a real photograph as PSN profile picture is to link your account to Facebook. Great :/

Funny that, I have Facebook and I have a Mrs, a kid, oh and the fact I’m in the military, so I probably work longer and harder than you.
But tbf there are some people who live for Facebook, I use it to keep in touch with friends and family when overseas.

Impressed by the speed and slickness, especially the Store. I only use the Store on PS3 if there’s no other way of getting what I want.
Remote play is quick to get going too.

Is that the real price of games in the U.S. $59.99

Looked quite good, will take some getting used to I would imagine. It is a shame that the video had cuts and jumps in it, I would much rather see the full process to see if it does stutter or slow at all.

The PS4 games are cheaper than our PS3 games, how does that work?
bunimomike
They won’t include tax.
