Wow. That Driveclub delay is paying off, as the latest video – uploaded to their Facebook page with the PS4’s share button – shows the dynamic skies in the Scotland “Chase” track.
It’s not raining, so it’s hardly a true-to-life representation of life here in Scotland, but the skies are absolutely stunning, and the flock of birds which flies by is just the cherry on the cake.
Driveclub will release on PlayStation 4 early next year.

Well the skies looked 3D from what I can make out and looked much more realistic. The flock of birds was nice too, though I reckon any racing game could have that if the devs properly thought about such clever attentions to detail.
The game has certainly sold me on the idea of a country road drive anyway.

Looks amazing. I just hope it doesn’t happen every lap/race like many games. These things can break immersion just as much make it.

I’ve seen a 5min video of this so you’re safe… When the driver gets to that point on the 2nd lap he just narrowly avoids running over a haggis.

When mcdonalds finally entered the South African market one of the existing convenience foot outlets introduced the slogan “Takes longer, worth the wait”. Seems pretty appropriate here as well!
