It comes as no surprise that the PSN has buckled under the numbers of new PlayStation 4’s going online and is currently “undergoing maintenance”.
We are aware some users are experiencing issues logging into PSN on PS4 due to the heavy traffic we are receiving, we're investigating

Frankly I’m kicking myself for not nipping down the bookies and putting twenty quid on this happening.
Also – and I do not want to cause a panic, this is just an observation – I know three people who have got borked PS4s, Teflon and 3 Shirts from TSA lucked out, as did my friend Anis. That does seem a rather high number.
We shall let you know when the PSN is back, assuming the staff can be ripped away from their shiny new boxes.

Mine isn’t borked thank god, but I’ve not been able to log into PSN at all today. I know 2 other people who got theirs and they aren’t broken either.
I want resogun!
Wait wait it might be letting me log in, just let me activate the console…Yes i’m in!

Got mine set up and updated. Am going to take the dog out for a walk, poor fella has been stuck in with me all day waiting for the delivery guy. Hopefully PSN will be back up when we return!

And just after Peter’s PS4 turns up. Coincidence? :-)

One of the reasons I went out in the cold last night (the other being I’m just daft). Got everything from the store and can play happy offline now.

I know of 2 failures but I’ve been logged into PSN since 10am this morning :)

Got mine delivered at 1:30pm mega bundle. Took a while to sign in with various failures but finally got connected around 2:30pm. However couldn’t upgrade bf4 to ps4 addition and download resogun. Hopefully will get service later. Should this not of been planned for?
In regard the mega pack the camera I thought came with a clip for tv but I guess this is only if the camera is bought separately.

Makes that statement they made about just a few features will be disabled to quicken things up laughable. They should of warned us it might be whole dam thing.

Mine arrived at about 2:30. Updated with no problem. Can’t log into psn so playing the games offline.
Really wish psn was available though. Really want to try remote play via the vita.
FluBBa
You don’t need PSN to use remote play (unless you’re out of your house).
arrybags
When I go into ps vita remote settings to sync the two. It says sign into psn to use network features.
sparkyscrum
Not done remote play yet but controlling my PS4 on my Vita while doing voice commands is amazing!

Add me to the “no problems with my ps3” tally! Thankfully :)
I’m glad I got logged into PSN around lunchtime, and managed to grab Resogun then, as it’s definitely gone AWOL now. Hopefully things will settle down later / tomorrow, so the rest of you get a turn!
