There seems to be a glitch in the PSN this morning as European Killzone Shadow Fall players are reporting a “PS+ failure”.

This is unrelated to the PSN maintenance that will occur from 4pm this afternoon and the Killzone team say “Sony’s working on a solution” at this very moment.
The problem seems to be spreading to the U.S. and other games, although these reports have not been confirmed.

UPDATE: It’s still not fixed, “Unfortunately, no news yet regarding the ongoing PSN outage. Sony engineers are currently working on a solution. We’ll keep you posted…” tweeted KIllzone.
The problem seems to be affecting most games now, and as the PSN is going offline for maintenance in less than an hout the chances of getting some online gaming done today and pretty slim.

Also the US, it’s a widespread problem. Killzone twitter page said it’s PSN & have contacted Sony to look into it. I don’t know how attach a pic or tweet so yeh

Not sure if it’s the same problem, but BF4 multiplayer isn’t working either.

Not sure if it’s related but McProley and I had the error CE-34878-0 several times last night which I believe is a PSN issue since it was fine it we were signed out of PSN (and doesn’t seem to be exclusive to CoD). Annoyingly it meant the application (game) closed, and McProley actually got some corrupted save data as the game was saving at the time.
There were also issues with sending some messages, albeit a different error code.
Hopefully it’s related to tonight’s maintenance and will get sorted as it’s making multiplayer unplayable, or at least pointless playing, as you never know when you’ll just get booted out!

Same. Bit annoyed because it usually let’s you play online when they’re doing maintenance. it signed me out this time. Hopefully they’re fixing it and it’s not the scheduled maintenance starting early.
