We have heard very little about PlayStation 3 Move enabled horror game, Until Dawn, since Teflon had a look at the game almost a year ago.
“Fingers crossed, though, that Supermassive can keep the overall feeling from what was a great demonstration running through the rest of the title,” said Tef, “If they do, then this will easily be one of the must have titles for the PS Move. I can’t wait to see if they can pull it off.”
The bad news is that, according to an email from Amazon, they cannot.

“Until Dawn is very much still in development, going really well, and without any deliberations of possible cancelation that I’m aware of,” said managing director at Supermassive Games Pete Samuels back in November.
“We’re very pleased with the way it’s going. I’m sure that there will be more news soon, but I couldn’t say exactly when.”
Perhaps the game is ‘Doing a Guardian’ and quietly being re-engineered for the PlayStation 4, Samuels would not comment on that possibility and neither would Sony.
UPDATE: VG24/7 got in touch with studio managing director Pete Samuels and he has told them that the cancellation rumours are not true and we’ll see more of the game next year.
“Until Dawn is most definitely not cancelled and we are still developing it. Not only that, but we’re really excited about what we’re creating and can’t wait to tell more and show more sometime soon. I understand that the silence has been frustrating for those people who have been looking out for more details.
“It’s clearly not planned to be a 2013 release any longer and I’m hoping and expecting to be able to say more in the new year, but that’s really all I’m able to say right now.”
That’s great – we wonder if it’ll be the first Move-enabled PS4 title, or remain one of next year’s big PS3 exclusives?

That’s a real shame, thought it was a great idea.
Oh well, back to Walking with Dinosaurs & 4am for me!

4am! The finest experience for the Move :)

I rather enjoyed Tumble & Child of Eden too but Aye, 4am is well good.

They do need a bit more than Playroom to justify buying the camera.

So it’s probably going to be cross-gen then, appearing on both platforms.

Easily going to be game of whatever year it’s released in. ;)

Really looking forward to this. Love the phrase “Doing a Guardian”
