Sony has revealed deal number eight for the 12 Deals Of Christmas promotion, which will run for the next 48 hours on PSN. This time the offerings include Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 for PS3, and Soul Sacrifice for PS Vita.
PES 2014 is being cut from £39.99/€49.99 to £15.99/€19.99. It’s a very good football game, scoring an eight in our review. If you’re looking for a new football title then I recommend picking it up for that price tag. There’s an additional 10% off for Plus members.
Soul Sacrifice is the Vita choice for the next two days, though it is a bit of an odd one considering it will be part of the next PlayStation Plus instant game collection. The price has been cut from £29.99/€34.99 to £14.99/€19.99, with 10% off for Plus members. Honestly, if you are a Plus member just wait until the update when you’ll get it for free.

I wonder what percentage of Vita owners visit these deals and are not on PS+? If there are many then the deal makes sense but to me there is little value in the SS deal. Surely even old content with a big price cut would have been better than this?
Is it wrong to expect prices so good everything is near an impulse buy?

Nothing for me in this set of goodies, fingers crossed for a Killzone Mercenary discount nearer Christmas! Has anyone else seen Now You See Me? I thought it was awful, far too many flashy effects to make the magic seem anything but fake and the story bored the pants off me. Shame really, the trailer was full of promise.

Not that I have a Vita or PS+, but putting Soul Sacrifice up is an utter piss take imo.
