Shooty fans rejoice, the PS4 and Xbox One are to get the rather stunning space combat game Strike Suit Zero.
The new Director’s Cut version of the game adds a host of additions and improvements including a restructured campaign, an adapted story, all new dialogue and a complete graphical overhaul, including upscaled ships and updated textures and lighting.
Space sims have been few and far between on the consoles so I am rather looking forward to Strike Suit Zero and there is not long to wait, the game will launch in March for a very reasonable £14.99 / $19.99.

Reminds me of Omega Boost from PS1 :)

I’d definitely buy this day one. I’ve played the normal version on Steam and it’s a solid game. They’d need to do some overhauls on the controls though, I tried the 360 controller with SSZ and it was awfully sluggish. Although, I remember the developers saying they were playing around with occulus rift a year or so ago.

Ooh, space sims in oculus rift, there’s an exciting prospect… X-Wing vs Tie!!! I haven’t tried SSZ, my laptop isn’t up to it, but it does look very good. Mechs in space on PS4? Yes please.
