With our review of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare having gone live an hour ago, and the game out later this week for Xbox One and 360, we thought it would be nice to share a little of the game footage we captured.
Our first port of call is the co-operative Garden Ops mode, which pits a team of four plants against 10 waves of zombies, with a few nice twists which harken back to the original game.
Next up, the other, more competitive side of the game. There’s a Team Deathmatch mode called Team Vanquish, but the heart of the competitive multiplayer is Gardens & Graveyards, which puts human players in control of the Zombies for the first time and sets them loose on the Plants’ defensive lines. It’s very much like PopCap keep saying; a mash up of Battlefield’s Rush and Conquest modes.
Check out our review for more on how it all plays, and come back in an hour if you’d like to see us talking to PopCap’s Gary Clay about the game.

This reminds me (even if a little off-topic), I remember reading TSA’s plans to stream PS4 game previews and such. Maybe I missed it, but I haven’t seen anything like that on the site since the PS4 launched. Any plans to do something like that?

The nerve you have to mention the PS4 around these parts! ;-)
Yes, but maybe not for a little while. There’s a few things that get in the way of preparing video content from PS4 a moment, from HDCP to the quality of the internal encoder chip and the horrible, horrible things that uploading to Facebook does. Streaming, on the other hand, wants a good internet connection, which a few of us simply don’t have.
More video is good, though, so we’re looking at it.

It all looks colourful, silly and fun. The sunflower turnng around or craning it’s head back to show it’s smug grin was funny.
Even better though, i love how these videos fill the screen in the PS4 browser when you zoom in. More of this please! :)

That’s how the sunflower reloads. Very cute little detail, if you ask me!
We’ll try :)
