SteamWorld Dig PS4 And PS Vita Release Dates Confirmed

SteamWorld Dig is coming to PlayStation, and it’s probably going to be the best version of the game, but if you’ve been reading the site then you’ll know that already, as we covered the announcement in a recent feature, where we spoke to the team behind the game, Image & Form.

There wasn’t a confirmed release date back then, or any word on pricing, but now the developers have let us know that the game will be available on the US PS Store on March 18th, followed by a European release the next day.

You can expect to pay $9.99 for the title in the US, €8.99 in Europe, and somewhere around the £7 or £8 mark in the UK, though sterling pricing is not yet confirmed.

It’ll be a cross-buy title, meaning you get both PS4 and Vita versions for the same price, and if that’s not enough, there will be a 20% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers across the world.

SteamWorld Dig on PS4 features 1080p and 60fps visuals, while the Vita version looks very crisp and smooth at native resolution. I believe both platforms will be a perfect fit for this brilliant game. If you want to hear more, remember to read our Back to the Mines article.

  1. Sweet, i only heard about this game when i read your previous article but now i’m quite looking forward to it. My only concern is that March is going to be a busy month for new releases and i already have my eye on a few of them… Ah what the heck, it’s my birthday then so i’ll treat myself! :)

  2. oh I don’t mind if I do….

  3. It’s been a good few days for cross-buy news! Now’s the time for Sony to be heavily plugging the Vita.
