The full details of next week’s Killzone Shadow Fall Insurgent Pack have been revealed and you certainly get a lot of content for your money.
There are three new spotlight moves, the Head Kick, the Finger Breaker and the C4, the latter you can see in the video below.
Also included are two new voice packs, one for Helghast and one for VSA, a brand-new OWL skin based on the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber and a new single player Elite Mode which gives you three lives to survive the campaign on hard mode.
The multiplayer game will feature collectables, cases that need to be shot for added points plus a bunch of new challenges. There is also a brand new class, the Insurgent, who can steal weapons and hack turrets whilst the orginal three classes get new abilities:
- E-Pulse emitter – a deployable beacon for the Assault class that sends out an e-pulse, making it difficult for enemy units to install automata in that area.
- Tactical Echo emitter – a deployable beacon for the Support class that sends out a Tactical Echo from a fixed location, making the area hard to infiltrate by hidden enemy units.
- Guard Drone – a stationary buddy drone for the Scout class – deploy it in one place and it guards the location from a ground level.
Just in case that isn’t enough, Guerilla have chucked in three new weapons as well:
- M82 – the classic assault rifle of choice from Killzone 2 and 3 is back!
- LS12 SMG Pistol – this amazing machine pistol makes your tactical secondary weapon of choice that much more punch.
- StA-14 Rifle – The sniper rifle of many battles past adds to your long distance sniping arsenal.
The Insurgent Pack will become available with next week’s PlayStation Store update for $9.99/€9,99, or if you have the season pass (which is £15.99), you get the pack for free.

Sounds like a great collection of content. Still really enjoying the game so I might have to cough up for the season pass once I’ve finished playing through Knack.
Completing the game on hard with three lives however… screw that, I usually die more than 3 times just on those damn free-fall sections! Wonder what happens if you encounter the annoying “invincible turrets” glitch? Took me a few lives to realise it had happened to me last time.

Great game & it’s a damn shame many overlook it in favour of Battlefield & Call of Duty. :( got the season pass as it’s a bargain really :)
