Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Blooms On PlayStation In August

After some imaginative teasing on EA’s part Sony has confirmed that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be coming to PS3 & PS4 in August on the 22nd. This release will also include the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down DLC, as well as a companion title called Boss Mode that will be available through the PlayStation app. The PS4 version of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will run at 60fps in 1080p, as well as support for Remote Play.

It’s not a total surprise that the game is coming to Sony’s consoles, but it is nice to have confirmation. In a way it’s a bit weird to have this announcement just a couple of weeks before E3.

  1. Peggle 2?

  2. We all knew this was a timed exclusive, but wasn’t Boss mode a MS Smartglass exclusive?

  3. This is one of those games I file under ‘not for me.’

  4. I watched the above video and they certainly made it very clear, numerous times up to the halfway point, and then again at the wrap-up, that PS versions will get all the additional content.

My son’s VERY excited about this.

  5. I feel that more and more games are being announced as exclusives. Yet, the majority of these “exclusives” turn out to be only timed or restricted to a specific amount sold in the fine print. I find that saying exclusive and not sticking to it is extremely misleading. Many people are interested in the exclusiveness of products in our world. However, through “timed-exclusive” it has become redundant and pointless in calling it “exclusive” all together. It just annoys me I guess.
