Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Horizon 2 will be releasing on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, and it is being developed by Playground Games, the studio that created the first Horizon title, with Turn 10 assisting with it. The game is set to release at some point in the autumn, but no concrete date has been given. What we do know is that the Drivatar feature of Forza Motorsport 5 will be present in the game, as well as a dynamic weather system. The game will also be using Southern Europe as its stage.
The cover car is the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán, and there will be hundreds of cars present in the game. The game will once again be centred around the Horizon festival and music will feature heavily, though there are no details on who may be on the soundtrack as of yet. This will be the second Forza title on the Xbox One, and it really does give MS more of an edge with racing as we still wait for a PS4 racing game, with MotoGP 14 coming out this month before Driveclub in October.
