Assassin’s Creed Unity Releasing October 28th, Here’s Some Single Player Footage

Earlier today we saw gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s co-op multiplayer, and now Ubisoft has shown off a trailer that looks at the single player portion of the game. It looks like classic Assassin’s Creed gameplay, with stalking a kill, running around rooftops, and entering restricted areas.

What is once again impressive is the size and detail of the crowd, which just seems to fill the streets giving Paris that busy feel. It also looks like side missions will pop up, and you can save them to go back to later. The final part of the trailer with the kill also reminded me a lot of the original Assassin’s Creed trailer when Altair took out an executor. Have a look.

Maybe it’s just me. There was also no mention of a last gen exclusive Assassin’s Creed game, so we can assume it doesn’t exist unless it gets announced at Sony’s presentation.

  1. Black Flag was my first AC game so I was looking forward to finding out more about Unity but after watching the on stage play I wasn’t that impressed.

  2. This has been the star of E3 so far, imo. Looked absolutely incredible.

    • Agree, it looked absolutely amazing! And I love that the series seems to be getting back to it’s routes by focusing on a committed Assassin fighting against the Templars, rather than the separate agendas that were driving the Kenways in their games. And I love the introduction of the co-op mode too!

  3. Gameplay doesn’t seem to have taken a next step, apart from co-op. But at least that’s something.

I’m annoyed that the protagonist doesn’t have a french accent, don’t they realise how much that could do for the character? The voice was an important part of Ezio.

  4. Although on the whole it looks awesome it does seem to be lacking in some places, as mentioned above voice acting could be better. Also the backgrounds look beautiful and detailed but there is little to no interaction. Look at the video around the 2 minute 40 mark they fight in the street and the street looks great but they just skate over puddles.

Either less pretty or more realistic interaction please.
