Nordic Games Aquire The THQ Name And Trademark

Nordic Games, the company that picked up Darksiders, Destroy All Humans, MX vs. ATV and many other THQ games has now purchased the right to use the THQ name to sell the games.

The reason is rather simple, no one knew who Nordic Games are, “There were so many articles with the headlines ‘Who the f*ck is Nordic Games?’” explained General Manager Klemens Kruezer.

“We have seen an uplift in the name of Nordic Games, and what we have also done is we have made a second deal with THQ where we bought the THQ trademark,” he added.

As for the games the company bought THQ, expect announcements at Gamescon.” This is where we need some more patience from the fans, because we want to be able to do it right,” said Klemens.

  1. Sounds like a reasonably good idea, but the question remains if they can get good enough developers on board to maintain a decent quality in their products.

  2. Red faction guerrilla 2 PLEASE :D

but indeed let’s hope they have enough good developers on board to make the most out of the titles they bought.
