Podcast: Post E3 Round Up Special

Our podcasts still aren’t quite back to their usual format. You’ll have to wait until next week for more quizzes and the return, we hope, of Lewis and Kev. What that means, though, is that you get one more E3-related podcast that features Kris and myself chatting about the big event.

We thought this might give an interesting mix of viewpoints on the show and the press conferences from someone who was there on the ground and someone who was able to watch all the streams and digest all the news without the need for eating ridiculous food or drinking too much tequila.

So sit back, load up your audio playback device of choice and listen to us chat about what is still gaming’s biggest show.

  • Please send us questions via email to podcasts[at]thesixthaxis.com.
  • You can also tag your questions on Twitter with #tsacast or send them to @TSAPodcast.

This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

  • As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
  • You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
  • We’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.
  • Or, if SoundCloud’s more your sort of thing, we now post the podcast over there too, which you can see embedded below.
  • Finally, the podcast now appears on Stitcher as well.

  1. i’d always thought the 6 in Rainbow Six was for the number of operatives.
i thought the very first R6 on PC had six operatives and they had to reduce it for console versions.
    live and learn.

what would be cool, is something like those Amiibos but for core games.
imagine if you could take Lara into GTA, or Drake into an Elder Scrolls game.
with levelable skills that can be used in other games.
wouldn’t it be cool to be able to scale almost any building in Skyrim?
using weapons from the Ratchet and Clank games in Infamous.

watch movies like Avatar and Dredd, and 3D shows what it can add to movies.
i don’t like post converted movies though.
they’re getting better, but they still can’t match movies filmed in 3D.

    elephant racing?
i’d like to see the level editor return with Far Cry 4.
i have zero talent in that area, but i know there are some amazingly talented players out there who will create some amazing things, like elephant races. ^_^

Nintendo had a few games that look interesting, there’s Xenoblade Chronicles X, and finally a new Zelda game, and open world too, that’s the game that will sell Wii Us.
i certainly want one when those two games are out. ^_^

i’m really looking forward to seeing more of No Man’s Sky.
i can’t wait to see what the actual gameplay consists of.
gaming needs more ambition like this rather then grey shooter after slightly greyer shooter.
