Godzilla Smashes Its Way To PS3 With This Trailer

Recently, word got out of a Godzilla game for the PS3, coming from Bandai Namco. Well, it appears they’ve uploaded a trailer for the game after that leak, you can see it below.

It’ll be interesting to see how they handle this game – while the footage is from a different perspective, could players be put in the metaphorical shoes of the beast? Famitsu suggested that in the initial leak, but Godzilla doesn’t wear real shoes, does he?

The power of the PS3 certainly won’t live up to a PS4 release of similar stature, and it’s likely that a lesser-known development studio is handling this one. It might be like Rambo all over again.

  1. The Xbox/PS2 game, Godzilla Save The World, was pretty darn fun. Especially in local multiplayer, where the Kaiju brawler let you throw ships and swing cranes at each other. But that was by Atari.

  2. I don’t know what it is specifically, but there’s something about the English alphabet fonts Japanese developers use that makes me deeply suspicious of any game they’re featured in. I was one second into the video above before I said ‘Uh-oh’ to myself.

It’s totally baseless, as Soul Caliber is a main offender, but still, I just can’t help it.
