MXGP Is Crossing That Next Gen Barrier To PS4

Milestone has announced that MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame will be heading to PS4, and will feature additional content over the last gen & Vita versions. There’s no mention of an Xbox One release, a console Milestone also avoided with MotoGP 14 which did release on Sony’s new gaming machine. The developer has also announced that for the first time ever the game will be available worldwide, and not just in select regions.

The features the PS4 version of MXGP will contain are as follows.

  • Four additional tracks bringing the total to 18 – Italy’ Arco di Trento, Bulgaria’s Sevlievo, Czech Republic’s Loket, and Europe’ Lierop.
  • The championship leading driver will have a red license plate, just like in real life.
  • The PS4 pads light will change colour depending on the player’s bike’s RPM.

There are also a number of improvements over the last gen versions including deformable terrain, textures of models and bikes being four times greater  over last gen, improved lighting & audio, and there will be more riders on the tracks too. There’s no confirmed release date yet.

  1. Sounds pretty good, the deformable terrain sounds like a nice touch.
