EA has announced a new partnership with the Barclay’s Premier League that will allow FIFA 15 to give the most authentic experience of the league. First off all twenty stadiums of the league’s teams will be represented, so alongside the mainstays like Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge you’ll be able to play on the virtual pitches of Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park or Burnley FC’s Turf Moor.
In addition to the stadiums the game commentary, which I’ve always found to be the weak point of the franchise, is said to be much better. The crowd reactions and chants were recorded at twenty Premier League matches over last season, and will be used to give a better in game atmosphere. The games themselves will broadcast style overlays giving more in depth looks at player and team stats, fixtures, and formations. Goal line technology will also be making it’s debut so those debates about if the ball crossed the line can be settled once and for all. All Premier League player faces were also scanned into the game, for that much more realistic look.
FIFA 15 launches September 26th on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii, PS Vita, 3DS and PC.
