  1. I dunno? It’s tricky as most will want to try the Ps+ version first to see how it plays & the serious racers have Project Cars shortly after this launches too.

  2. I’ll stick with the plus version until i’m certain about the handling but all going well i’ll be picking up the full game.

  3. Think I’ll stick to the standard game. I bought GT5’s “Signature” edition, which gave you some spectacularly powerful cars from the start, allowing you to blitz the early races without trying (that black 787B, damn) while going through the grind of tuning some obscure Japanese runabout. Totally killed the fun of GT, I won’t be paying for a shortcut again and I don’t see anything else in this special edition that warrants the extra cost.

    • Yeah, same thing here. I fell into the same trap with GT6 too, and had to make a rule of not using the cars I’d payed extra for…

I’ll stick to the plus edition, and then maybe upgrade to the standard game. But it’ll be fighting Forza and The Crew for my racing fix so if the game doesn’t fully click with me I’ll stick to Plus.

      • I did pick up GT6’s “Anniversary” edition, but made a point of not going for the extra content, I just loved that blue steelbook, very nice. Like a blue version of Rush :D

  4. If the five cars were exclusive to the special edition then maybe I would think about it, but as they’re in the standard game I don’t think the liveries, exclusive artwork and stickers are worth an extra £15.

    • It’s only a fiver extra. £49.99 pre order for the regular version and £54.99 for the special edition.

      • Yep, I should know the price of PS4 games by now.
