A new trailer for Evolve has been released by 2K giving a look at the Savage Goliath. This isn’t actually a new monster but instead a new skin for the already revealed Goliath. The trailer has a look at how the Goliath plays, with the monster relying heavily on brute strength and speed. It also shows the Goliath tracking the hunters, hiding in bushes and watching from above. The trailer also states that those who pre-order will get the Monster Expansion pack, which includes Savage Goliath skin, and a new monster character.
The trailer also notes that the Evolve Big Alpha will begin October 31st, and you can apply for a chance to enter the event. If you go to the Big Alpha website here and use either code 63334-59648-17396 or 11197-10708-89072. It may be that the codes have already reached their limit, but trying doesn’t hurt. Also even if you fill out this form you aren’t guaranteed a place in the Alpha.

Trying to catch up, this game is online only right? A team of 4 (co-op/AI) against a player controlling the monster or an AI. Am I correct? I vaguely remember playing an Xbox 360 game called Shadow something where it’s just Multiplayer only game like Brink but with monsters instead. They did have weapons. Going to Google that game I played and Evolve too.

Yep the game was called Shadowrun. And Evolve is indeed 5 players 4vs1
I may give this one a miss as I like to have a good singleplayer along with multiplayer.

YOu and me both. An intersting premise but I will always choose single player over online multiplayer. Shame because it does look intriguing.

Shame there’s no single player or even local co-op as I’d have liked to give this a go.
It would also be cool if they had the Alien Xenomorph as DLC, I bet that would make a great monster in this type of game.

I just realised this….. what if there is a maintenance and Evolve will be unplayable like Destiny where you cannot play solo offline!
@Yiddo, Developer will not say anything about solo and it said the game was designed for 4vs1 so solo would be… obsolete.
