The Unfinished Swan Flaps Onto PS4 And PS Vita Next Week

Two years after the PlayStation 3 version was released, Armature Studios have completed the PS Vita and PS4 ports of Giant Sparrow’s splosh ’em up, The Unfinished Swan.

Both versions will land on the EU PS Store next week with the “silky smooth 1080p” PS4 version priced at €12.99/£9.99. The title is cross buy so if you buy the PS4 version you get the Vita game for free, and anyone who picked up the original PS3 title will also get the two new versions for no pence at all.

The game puts you in the shoes of a small boy who is  chasing after a swan who has wandered off into a surreal unfinished kingdom. You begin in a completely white space and paint to splatter your surroundings, to reveal the world around you.

  1. That’s good news, I might actually bother finishing it. Thought it was a bit overrated tbh, but enjoyable enough. Would be nice if it has Cross-Save too, but Cross-Buy is a result.

  2. I enjoyed this game on ps3 but it’s not one of my favourites. I liked the concept and it was very well done but I wouldn’t choose to play it again now I have completed it. Definitely worth one playthrough though.

That trophy where you could only use three paintballs in the whole level was a pain. You had to remember where to go from memory because everything was white.

  3. Picked up PS3 version a week before it went half price in a sale, so will get PS4 version just to try and redeem some value!

  4. Lovely stuff, i encountered a glitch in the final level on PS3 so i’ll give it another go on PS4.

  5. Loved it on the PS3, and even managed to get 100% trophies, so colour me excited.

  6. So if I buy the ps3 version now. Will I get the other two platforms when it comes out next week?

  7. Is Move supported on the PS4 version?
