I’m back after escaping the country to find a bit of sun, and have arrived back in time for the final day of this year’s Six Nations, which is set to be a thriller. Four teams today could technically win it, and it’s possible we won’t know until the very last minute of the tournament who’s done it!
Anyway, setting rugby aside for a minute, let’s get started with this week’s Community Round-Up!

Our OlliOlli 2 competition ended last night, and we’ll get the results out to you as soon as we can. I know you’re all very excited to see who’s nabbed that £10 PSN voucher, the t-shirst and, of course, the fingerboards!
In the meantime, we’ll have a look towards the Meets this week. As usual, there will be GT6 on Monday and Battlefield on Friday, with a few GTA V Heists meets thrown in for good measure.
If you’d rather play something else, you can add your own Meet to the list, provided you have more than 250 TSA Points.
Dwarfed by the number of reviews, there were ‘just’ three previews this week, so let’s get them done and dusted. Stefan began with a trip to Jurassic World, to see how the Lego dinosaurs are shaping up, followed by a darker tone with Bloodborne. Both games look set to please their respective fanbases, with the former revelling in Traveller’s Tales trademark humour, while the later should suit those that love the devilishly hard Dark Souls style games.
Elsewhere, Kris brought us part 1 of his visit to Rezzed, which focuses on some of the best Indie games that he tried out, while you can also read his diaries from last week to see what he got up to in London.
From the ten reviews, this week’s high scorer was Ori And The Blind Forest, which earned a superb 10/10. Matt describes it as a game that’s “fun, visually appealing, and finds the balance between challenging and achievable […] but also tugs at your heartstrings with an emotional story about love, hope, and having the right intentions.”
Meanwhile, Telltale’s Episode 2 of Tales from the Borderlands didn’t quite live up to the standard set by the first episode, but that didn’t stop Blair giving it an 8/10. Also sitting on an 8/10 was Battlefield Hardline, marking the return of a Battlefield game that has a good single player. Stefan also likes how Visceral have adapted the core gameplay to a new setting – and have pulled it off.
The rest of this week’s reviews, bar two, all sat on a solid 7/10. Let’s begin with Mario Party 10, which brings more of the same local multiplayer fun, while Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone has a crazy plot existing fans should enjoy. For fans of Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War, they should check out Nightmare, which acts as a remaster and expansion to the game that was released nearly 7 years ago.
Our last two 7/10’s were for the strong finale to Resident Evil Revelations 2 with Episode 4, and for Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype which has made its way to Vita and PS3. Sitting on a disappointing 4/10 was Aaru’s Awakening, a 2D platformer that Aran described as being “obnoxiously difficult.” Lastly, The Evil Within’s The Assignment DLC has everything you could want for in a horror game, according to Tuffcub.
On Mobile Watch, Jim played Criminel, a CSI-style game set in Paris just before the World War 1, and Stefan and Kris had a chat with Mike Bithell in what could well be his final ever interview. (Spoilers: it’s not really)
The latest game on WeView is Dragon Age: Inquisition, which follows on from Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment’s mostly favourable Verdict. Not forgetting the Chronicle, which last week featured talk about the BAFTA Video Game Awards, Titanfall 2 and penises (all thanks to a sneaky contractor working on State of Decay!)
Lastly, this week’s Podcast was a Rezzed special, while What We Played #195 featured Hardline, GTA V and Ori And The Blind Forest.

The Forums have been quiet this week, but let’s see what we’ve got!
- Youles is looking for people to complete the GTA V Heists with, on both PS3 and PS4.
- The latest Driveclub update now includes replays, and TSBonyman has uploaded one of his races, why not upload some of yours?
That’s all there is for this week’s Round Up, so enjoy your weekend and I’ll see you here next time – bye!

Don’t know if this’ll get seen now (being that it’s a couple of days after this was posted), but I just wanted to pop in to say that I haven’t actually run a BF meet for a number of weeks now. No particular reason, just interest waned.
Just didn’t want people being confused when they saw it mentioned here & no meet up to join was all really.
That said, if there is any interest in a renewed BF meet from anyone, please let me know & I will see if I can accommodate. :)
