Steamworld Dig Is Coming To Xbox One This Summer

Developer Image & Form have announced today that the popular action-adventure platformer, Steamworld Dig, will be coming to Xbox One.

“We’ve got big news today” writes Image & Form in their statement, “Steamworld Dig is finally coming to Xbox One! After a great time and big success on Nintendo 3DS, Steam, PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Wii U, we’re at last releasing the game on Xbox One.”

The developer has teased that the Xbox version will have something a little different to the other versions of the game although they keep exact details close to their chest.

“We’re preparing an elaborate Easter egg for the Xbox One version”. They also confirmed that they will be making some tweaks to make the game better overall but they are keen to stress that they will be keeping the game “similar” to the other versions.

There is no word on an exact release date yet other than they expect it to be available on the Xbox Store towards the end of May.

  1. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it very much went towards the justification of PS+ (when it comes to “freebies”). Lovely, low-brain-power game I hammered over Christmas.

  2. I would have enjoyed the game a bit more if they gave the option to disable one of the jump buttons. Either ‘X’ or ‘Up’, both enabled at once just frustrated me no end.
