A new title update has been released for Bloodborne which will address an issue that some players are having with picking up the Lunarium Key, an item which is instrumental in progressing through the game.
The problem occurs when players participate in online multiplayer either as a co-operative partner or hostile invader in the Forbidden Woods area of the game. For some reason, this would make the Lunarium Key unobtainable. The patch is also set to fix some other minor issues with the game. However, the long load times which are due to be fixed will presumably be addressed in a future update.
Our review for Bloodborne was released earlier this week with Aran giving it 9/10. He praised “The twisted atmosphere of Yharnam, the great design of the monsters, and the fear it can instil within you is something that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.” Aran went on to conclude “There’s a time when you realise a game will be revered and spoken of fondly years from now, and Bloodborne will be one of them.”

I’m enjoying it. My first two hours involved 10-12 deaths but i restarted last night with a new character and made it through most of central Yarnhem without dying once. Progress! :)

Loving the game but I think it will be a while before we see any improvement to loading times. They’ve got to change the whole loading structure. If I had to guess, they force a complete reload every time as they bring in details from the save file regarding which doors are open etc, rather than it loading dynamically….. why this would be the case through the years of development though, is beyond me.
Four bosses down, more to come tonight hopefully!
