  1. Nice selection of some old Fords!

    • Ford Capri = defo sold but a 2.8 Laser = pre order all the BS Dlc stuff.

      • Capri Laser 2.8!…Willy expected to excel in the arty craft of lampost wraparound lol.
Sierra Cosworth though, now we’re talking! ;)

  2. Nice list, optimal for someone who loves racing cars, although I was expecting slightly more to be honest given that the track list is one of the best out there.

BUT, what is this crap about Limited edition car pack and the sort. Is it some retailer exclusive, or DLC? It’s naff cordoning off some cars like that.

    • Only available from Game, and it’s sold Out!

      • LE is sold out for PS4 but still available for X1 and PC.

    • Agree about the list, was expecting quite a few more with all the different classes available.

You also get the limited pack with the ps store version plus modified, £45.

    • Usually (but not always), those DLC packs will make it to the Store – often with GAME they are timed exclusives.

Modified Car pack is for pre-ordering the game.

      • I’m not sure this is to do with game. The digital edition is essentially the special edition game sold minus the physical items. Toying with buying ps store edition, says it releases 7th too.

      • Sure, I just meant in retailer terms – the Store isn’t really on par with any other retail outlet. Excluding the PS Store, the Limited Edition is an Exclusive to GAME (as per their website), but still that doesn’t stop the DLC getting released later on – as it did with GAME’s exclusive versions of Sniper Elite 3 and Dying Light.

That’s good if it releases a day earlier on the Store! I’ve got the GAME LE ordered as I’d quite like to read the book, and the steelbook and DLC is just a bonus.

    • Cheers guys. Nice to know I’m not the only one that thinks the car list was a little small. Makes the exclusive ‘DLC’ a bit more of an audacity, seeing as the actual cars form half of ‘racing’ game content.

      • I’m going into language overload today :( Not saying the DLC forms half the content, just cars generally in a racing.

      • On a positive the free car is listed as no.1 so I’d imagine they’ll be more to come down the line.

  3. It’s nice, pity about the lack of sub-GT sports cars.

Within a few days I’ll be able to say whether or not I will be hosting a time trial tournament in Chesterfield, celebrating the town’s presence in a racing game for the first time.

Most people I’ve been discussing the idea with so far have given me every support, short of help. If some actual help does arrive at some point soon, I’ll be inviting anyone who can come along.

Also, nice to see the Pagani Heeurrueerrrhhya on the list.

  4. A good selection of old and new cars. And no six million versions of the Nissan Skyline. Actually not one Skyline.

    • I was hoping for one version of the GTR at least, oh well.

  5. A tad disappointed that there aren’t more high performance ‘regular cars’ but still a nice selection. Fingers crossed we can have a TSA Touring Car Championship soon?

  6. According to their tweets, there should be one free car a month, guessing there will be dlc too?

  7. Plenty of cars, but nothing jumps out at me. I’m extremely suspicious of this game, really looking forward to some reviews to see if it lives up to the hype.

  8. This game has really grabbed my attention over the last couple of months. I think that DriveClub has reignited my love of racing games after the last couple of ‘Gran Tourismo’s became super sterile and 0% fun.
The preview builds I’ve seen so far really do look stunning. I hope this game lives up to the hype.

  9. Great selection of cars, plenty for all tastes.
I hope that Ford Capri replicates it’s real life handling and there are lampost’s dotted along the track :P

  10. The made up cars probably add the most to the game, can’t wait to go through karts to formula A.

Look forward to driving the R18 ultra again, it gripped insanely and kept on pulling as I remember in forza 5.

And if the Lykan Hypersport is the benchmark for the free dlc cars, we’re going to be treated very well.
