Update: As was teasingly confirmed a couple days ago, Lo Wang is back in Shadow Warrior 2, a sequel to the reboot of the classic 90s first person shooter. This time around, he’s got to deal with a mess of his own creation, with the game heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC some time in 2016.
The natural order of the world has been shattered, and now demons and humans live and fight alongside each other, and Lo Wang is dragged into a fresh conflict. The big difference this time is that the ludicrously gory looking gameplay – whether slicing and dicing or shooting – can be enjoyed in four player co-op.
The original post follows.
At the rate we’re going there aren’t going to be many games left to announce at E3 next week, with Devolver Digital confirming a sequel in the form of Shadow Warrior 2. There really isn’t much detail other than that, and no doubt there will be more information revealed once E3 gets into full swing. The official site seems to be struggling to load at the minute too, but there is a teaser video playing in the background.
So, yes, it is time for more Wang. As soon as we get some more information regarding dates and platforms you’ll be informed. If you’ve not played the Shadow Warrior and fancy it, then you can grab it on the PSN Store for £7.49 if you’re a Plus member.

This was a pretty enjoyable game. Very old school fps style and quite funny too.

I still have to pick up the first game but this week’s store discounts should take care of that.

I love old-school games like this. 4 player co-op is a nice touch.
