Sony dropped one the biggest bits of news at E3 this year, confirming the remake of Final Fantasy VII with the PS4 set to get the game first. However this isn’t the first time Final Fantasy VII has been confirmed for Sony’s console. You may remember at PlayStation Experience the announcement where the original Final Fantasy VII was confirmed for the PS4, though at the time no release date was given for it.
Now it appears October 16th will be the day PS4 owners can return to Midgar if they wish, at least according to Square Enix’s own product page for Final Fantasy VII.  There’s no price for it but the PC port costs £4.99 at the moment, or you can get it for PS3 or PS Vita for £7.99.

Do you know what? I enjoyed this game so much that I’d probably buy it again. Throw in the fact that I am definitely buying the remake, I think I’ll have bought this roughly 5 times maybe?

How about no, Square as i own it on PS3 and when i get a PS4, i don’t want to buy it again despite owning it… hang on, just remembered it’s on my old PSN account that has no valid email account thus am royally screwed if that account goes down.
So yeah, i would buy it again. :D I do wonder if they will throw in FF7 with the remake and i do hope that we get the Cloud almost kisses the Don scene whilst wearing a dress and if there is ever an excuse to show a panty shot, it is FF7 for the comedy or disturbing factor. And then there’s the… ahem, excuse me, i seem to have gone off topic. Damn Remake and it’s potential for bring new FF7 memories. Stupid Sexy Flanders.
