TSA E3 Bingo 2015 Results

With E3 omone and dusted, there’s just one thing left to do; see who will have the TSA Bingo bragging rights for the next year! It was an interesting expo, with most of the safer options appearing and far fewer of the riskier ones appearing than in previous years. That means that it was the people that went for the more certain options that tended to do better, as we only had three 3-pointers.

Just to remind you, the winner is not the person with the most number of correct choices, but the person with the highest score. The points system was weighted towards rewarding those that chose the riskier options that we thought were less likely to happen.

Out of the 90-odd available options, 28 actually occurred, and you can see those below:

So that you can compare your scores against your favourite writers, and so we can see who will hold the bragging rights in TSA Towers, here’s how the staff did:

Position Staff Name Score
1 Tuffcub 14
2 gazzagb 12
3 Blair I 10
4 Jim H 9
Tony C 9
5 Adam Guest 8
Kris L 8
6 Dan J 7
Aran S 7
7 Stefan L 3
8 Dom L 2

Tuffcub gets the glory this year, followed by myself and Blair. It was pretty close behind that, with just 3 points between 7 writers, although there was then quite a drop down to Stefan and Dom!

Here’s the bit you’ve been waiting for though, the entrants with the top five highest scores:

Position TSA ID Total Score
1 Erroneus 21
2 Mickey2010 17
3 Takyu 16
TSBonyman 16
4 Kennykazey 15
mynameisnotspecial 15
5 djhsecondnature 14
Jimmy-google 14
Tuffcub 14
UKZ-N3M1515 14

Erroneus takes 1st place with a whopping 21 points, which is very impressive considering last year’s 1st place was just 15 points. Behind him, there was Mickey2010, Takyu and TSBonyman sharing the podium, and as you can see, every point made a difference. Head on over to Page 2 to see the full table in all its glory.

And with that, we say goodbye to this year’s E3 Bingo. I hope you enjoyed it and we’ll see you next year!

  1. A measly nine points?! I thought I did better than that! Still, can’t remember what I selected anyway and it was a bit of fun so thanks for doing it! :)

  2. Congrats to the winners TuffCub and Erroneous!
I didn’t do too bad either – joint third. This year i was a bit more tactful, skipping most of the dead-certs (1-pointers and instead going for the next most likely options (2 and 3-pointers). Looks like it paid off .. to a degree – i still needed to get a few more right answers but a marked improvement over my results previous years. :)

  3. OMG!! :O

I had a good feeling about it, but damn, never expected that :)

    • Congratulations! I guess you’re not so “Erroneus” after all.

  4. Yes! Second place. For tenth place. Best result in years.

  5. I’ve entered for the first time this year, so 7th place is fine for me, especially as I managed to take the top spot there … ;o)
    Was fun, thanks.

  6. Like I’ve said: always bet on The Last Guardian.

I’m happy with shared fourth, think I did similarly last year.

  7. A sensational 6 points! Bettering my astonishing 3 last year!

  8. Joint tenth place, not bad going!
