Last weekend’s F1 was quite a race wasn’t it? From the first lap till the last, you weren’t quite sure what was going to happen next. There’s also been some thrilling matches at Wimbledon, and even the Ashes has had me watching the text feeds during work.
Let me know what your highlight of the week was (sporting or not), as we crack on with this week’s Community Round-Up!

Looking at the Meets, chances are that Monday will see the Project Cars meet, followed by Battlefield on Friday, with a few GTA V Heists meets thrown in also.
If you’d rather play something else, you can add your own Meet to the list, provided you have more than 250 TSA Points.
For those that have caught the Wimbledon bug, Stefan looked at Mario Tennis Ultra Smash (which from the title is pretty self explanatory), and another Wii U title, Star Fox Zero. This game sees Fox McCloud taking on Andross, complete with dogfights and an updated control scheme that takes a bit to get used to.
From the reviews, PS+ giveaway Rocket League scored a 9/10 and is our high scorer. Jim love the sequel that changes little from the first, building upon the ‘if it ain’t broke’ matra, whilst he also enjoyed Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: Generation V with its ‘streamlined combat’ and fun gameplay, leading it to a 7/10 score.
Whispering Willows is a game that sees you taking control of a girl with astral projection, which comes in handy as she completes puzzles in the search for her dad. Aran gave it a 7/10, before we drop a point to 6/10 for Ronin, which Dave described as a 2D platformer with an appealing concept that is let down by it’s lack of polish.
F1 2015 was released yesterday, and Tef brought us his first thoughts on the game ahead of the full review. Meanwhile, Tuffcub has had a look at Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, and Jim found that Planetside 2 left a strong first impression.
From the Blogs, Dom explored moral choices in games and explained why he always avoided the ‘dark side of the force’, while Blair looked at where next for Rocksteady, now that they’ve finished Batman Arkham Knight. Lastly, Dave wrote about the JRPG genre and asked if the genre is losing its sense of innovation.
The Chronicle talked The Last of Us 2, Uncharted 4 and PS+’s 5th birthday. Elsewhere, all but one of you was in favour of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor in its WeView Verdict, and it’s looking pretty good for Borderlands The Pre-Sequel as the new game.
To end, Peter returned for Episode 184 of the Podcast, and What We Played #211 featured Blur, Rocket League, and Batman.

Let’s move onto the Forums:
- Death in Flamez asks who’s interested in this year’s Fantasy Football League.
- The Random Questions thread needs some attention.
- And following on from this week’s successful GTA V Meet, further meets are being planned!
Well, that’s it for this week. Let me know if you’ve got anything good planned for the weekend and I’ll see you again in a weeks time!

F1 at Silverstone was a belter for sure. A shame to see the usual guys on the podium, and that Williams never made a second or first place finish, but the race itself was non-stop tension. As Coulthard mentioned, its amazing what happens when the competition is closed up a bit, although rain definitely helped too.

Yes, I wish Williams were bolder and more confident in their strategy at Silverstone. They had a great start but seemed to go straight to the mentality of defending, rather attacking and extending their lead over the Merc’s. The rain came at just the right time to cause a mix up but you can’t fault mercedes for reading it right and coming away with the 1-2.

It would have been good for the sport if Williams had won, especially at Silverstone. They should have let Bottas lead as soon as possible but with the rain they had no chance.

Looking forward to the F1 2015 full review, I have the game but have had little more than a half hour spare time to tool around on it!
