Mortal Kombat X has received quite a bit of DLC which has included characters such as Tremor and Goro. Special characters have also been included in the first round of content too, like Predator and Jason Voorhees, as well as characters new skins for the existing roster, for example Kold War ones. Classic fatality moves for characters have also been released since the game made its way to shelves in April. All in all there hasn’t been a shortage of DLC for Mortal Kombat X.
It isn’t over though as NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that there will be new characters, skins, and environments available in early 2016. No clues have been given as to which kombatants will return to the roster, or make their début. There’s no indication of what kind of enviroments will be added either, nor the skins that fighters will be able to wear.
Earlier this week Warner Bros. Interactive confirmed it was cancelling Mortal Kombat X for PS3 and Xbox 360, with the port not meeting standards.
