Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Starcraft II’s standalone expansion Legacy Of The Void will be releasing on November 10th. The opening cinematic of the expansion has been uploaded and gives the backstory of the expansion. The story casts the player as Hierarch Artanis, who commands the Protoss race. The mission is to reclaim the Protoss homeworld, Aiur, which the Swarm conquered. The Protoss race must be united before the Swarm can be pushed off Aiur.
Legacy Of The Void is the final part of Starcraft II’s trilogy, and can be pre-purchased for £29.99. There is also deluxe edition for £44.99 that includes portraits, skins, a Protoss card pack for Hearthstone, a Protoss transmog for Diablo III, and a Void Speeder mount. Pre-purchasing will also give instant access to the Legacy Of The Void beta. If you haven’t played Starcraft II then you can try out the Starter edition for free, and see if it is for you.
