Everybody loves a bit of Everybody’s Golf, but it’s looking like golf will only be one of many activities to get up to in New Everybody’s Golf on PS4. A new trailer shown at Sony’s TGS press conference featured all sorts of things, from hooning around in golf buggies to gliding down to the course on a parachute, with a distinctly communal feel to everything on show.
Of course, it’s called New Minna no Golf in Japan, with a release planned for next year, but we can expect to see it in the EU under the Everybody’s Golf brand and in the US as Hotshots Golf, as well.

Series has always had that kid friendly look to it. It’s going up against Mario Golf, rather than PGA Tour or anything like that. Except, this one’s now doing crazy stuff with driving around in golf carts and what have you.

Thought as though, but in a positive way. It sounds like it could be a nice breath of fresh air. I’d rather play a fun round of golf, as last time I played a PGA game it got far too serious & boring for me.
I can feel a TSA golf tournament / cart race coming on.

Whilst it goes for a more arcade look and feel, I’d argue it has a very, very good golf engine under the bonnet. Better than the PGA games in my opinion.

Oddly enough, I just spoke to one of my mates who praised the previous games and said similar – under the arcadey fun graphics, its generally a decent golfing game.

Grateful to see more information, disappointed that it doesn’t have an actual release date yet as traditionally it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months after the Japanese release before we get our version.

It’s definitely got a far superior physics engine to the EA games. I’m a massive golf fan and underneath the cartoon graphics it really does play the best game of golf.
I eventually bought a ps3 when world tour came out and this new version will make me buy a ps4.
I better start saving.

Cracking news, these are seriously good games with all of the technical know-how of a full PGA/Tiger/Irish bloke game effort. May look look cartoony and mini-golfy but rest assured, skill is of the essence!
Not so cracking news, it won’t release until next year :(

Awesome. Be looking forward to this. Got it on vita. Plays really well. Tried pga but gets too serious. Fun but tricky to master.
