Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is released this week and the footage that has been shown so far does not inspire the greatest confidence.. In fact the game received a day one patch that is bigger, coming in at 7.6GB, than the actual game file size, which is 4.6GB. In fact Eurogamer has created a video of how Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 plays even with the patch installed.
If you’re looking to buy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 it is probably worth waiting until more patches have been released to fix the issues, or wait and see if EA announces Skate 4 in light of this release.

Everyone knows Activision doesn’t care about anything other than Call of Duty, Skylanders and World of Warcraft, so this is hardly surprising.

I cannot believe this is going to be a full priced game. This should have been an sub £15 game like Tony Hawks HD ?

Definitely! Or at the very most a budget £29.99 blu Ray release!

Loved THPS 1-4. Some of my favourite ever games. Was really hoping 5 was going to live up to these but looks like that might not be the case. Not just because of the glitches. I will still probably play it when I have a lull in games. I can see it dropping price rather quickly at retail

Well my copy of Tony’s Hawks has just turned up,there doesn’t seem to be a patch the disc info says the game is 7.28GB but there’s no update there for me.

The patch is now up at 7.6GB seems you couldn’t play past the tutorial without signing out of PSN without the patch as R1MJAW informed me,the game on the disc was definitely 7.28GB though only played a tiny bit but enjoyed what I did play think I’m going to enjoy it like every Tony game I’ve played.
