SOMA Sells 92,000 in Ten Days, Live Action Video Series Released

The rather good SOMA has sold 92,000 in just ten days with sales continuing to be strong at around 2,000 copies a day. The revenue from the game should keep Frictional running for another two years.

This beats their first release, Amnesia: The Dark Descent which sold 30,000 copies in the first month, but lags behind the sales of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, which managed 120,000 in the first month.

The team have also released the first four videos in a live action series based on the game which act as a prologue for the game. Just like SOMA, they’re rather freaky and odd.

You can read more about the game in our review, which you can find by tickling this link.

  1. Should I watch these if I haven’t completed the game yet?!

The game is bloody amazing so far, loving the amount of interactivity in the game world. Would be perfect for VR.

  2. Buy the game!

  3. Only about three hours in but absolutely loving this so far. Its real edge of your seat stuff and the characters/writing/atmosphere are all fantastic
