Black Ops III – The Awakening DLC Comes To Xbox One & PC On March 3rd

Let’s be honest, the timed exclusivity for Call of Duty DLC is a bit rubbish for those who aren’t lucky enough to be on the preferred platform. For a long, long time it was Xbox gamers who had the one month headstart, but now it’s PlayStation 4 owners who have pride of place, and have been able to play Black Ops III’s The Awakening DLC throughout February.

As sure as tick follows tock, follows tick, follows tock, The Awakening is coming to Xbox One and PC on March 3rd. It brings with it four new multiplayer maps, one of which is a remake of the popular Hijacked map from Black Ops 2, but there’s also a quite excellent new Zombies map, called Der Eisendrache.

Elsewhere in the world of Call of Duty, this weekend marks the start of the Call of Duty World League Challenge Division, which allows teams of players from outside the sphere of eSports to prove themselves worthy of a battle against pro teams and a spot in the Championship Qualifiers.
