Rats, sinking, and ships spring to mind with the reveal that Activision won’t have a huge presence at E3 this year and will not have their usual massive presence on the show floor.
Instead, the gameplay premier of the next Call of Duty title, currently in development at Infinity Ward, will occur on the Sony PlayStation stand. Activision have cut back their output quite drastically, and with Destiny 2 now scheduled for 2017, they really don’t have much to show at the event besides CoD, Destiny DLC and maybe a Skylanders update.
Activision’s departure from E3 follows on from EA who announced they would be holding their own events in London and Los Angeles rather than participating on the show floor.

But where we will find out about COD and erm….. DESTINY and erm….
er..
er….
a shitty movie licensed tie in game??
They should have done this years ago as well, let’s face it, COD is pretty much the only game worth a damn that they release and even then, COD is nearing the end of it’s shelf life.
Unless it goes back to WW2, scrap the QTEs or keep them in low amount of numbers, less Michael Bay plots, less ‘Merica vs dem russians and more COD back in the 2000s.
However, i do kinda hope they will surprise us with a Deadpool game! They be fools not to as now would be perfect to release a sequel to the DP game from 2011 with more Nolanpool. Unless Troy Baker has assumed direct control of North and now, we have Nolan Baker and Troy North.

They do also have Guitar Hero which came back in a big way last year, but being that they are still releasing a steady stream of content for its GHTV mode, I doubt they have much to say on that front.
Destiny news is generally being left down to Bungie to report I believe.
…Which I believe would leave them with CoD news. Which no-one really cares about anyway, as those that play it will likely buy the next one regardless! ;)
Truth be told, they are probably too focussed in their attempt to get into the eSports field tbh. They have supposedly acquired $46 million USD worth of assets from Major League Gaming for that purpose alone… Apparently (allegedly?).

Sponsered by MOUNTAIN DEW! and DORITOS! Because, apparently, we gamers only need the Dew and the Doritos.
To be fair, i care about COD news. Mainly where i can buy it for lunch.
Yes, i went there. I went and brought up a deader then dead joke.
