Summer officially started this week, but it seems someone forgot to tell that to the weather, which some parts of the UK experiencing temperatures colder than that on Christmas Day!
On a more cheery note, E3 is just a week and a day away now. So, with that in mind, let’s get ready for this week’s Community Round-Up!

Beginning with the previews, Stefan kicked things off with a look at the upcoming Just Cause 3 DLC, which adds a gravity-wielding mech because the game wasn’t bonkers enough already. He also looked at some of the more unusual concepts that Skylanders Imaginators is bringing with it, as it stands alone in the Toys to Life genre for this year.
Meanwhile, Jim took at look at Dead Island: Definitive Edition, which brings familiar zombie terror to the new consoles, as Tef took to the pitch with a first look at Pro Evolution Soccer 17.
Turning our attention to the reviews now, in first place we had Hard Reset Redux on an 8/10. With ‘fast-paced shooting’ and ‘great visual design’, Dave said it was perfect for those that enjoyed the recent DOOM release.
One Piece: Burning Blood from Bandai Namco was given a 7/10 from Dom, thanks to it’s cel-shaded visuals and ‘spectacular combat’, as we drop another point to 6/10 for Dangerous Golf. Jim reviewed the game, created by ex-Criterion developers, which sees you trying to cause the most damage possible to get the highest score.
Lastly, Dave called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan a “bitter disappointment”, giving it a lowly 5/10, which led to Steven in the comments making a “special request” that I’m still confused about.
Stefan also brought us an indepth-review of the HTC Vive, beginning with a look at the headset itself. After that, he turned his attention to a selection of games, broken down into parts one, two and three, before a more focused review of Project CARS and Elite: Dangerous and how they adapt to the system.
From the blogs, Kris delved into the world of videogame movies and asked why they always go wrong, as Jim carried out a postmortem on The Evil Within to see what it got right, and more importantly, what it didn’t.
Last week’s Hot Topics included the No Man’s Sky delay and the Xbox Scorpio, while What We Played #256 featured Overwatch, The Witcher 3 and the HTC Vive.

Time to open up the Forums and have a look!
- Steven asks for your thoughts on the new Top Gear
- And he also tried to start a game of TSA tennis… but didn’t really start it!
Have an enjoyable weekend, as I’ll be starting to prepare something that rhymes with bee 3 dingo…

The Lone Steven
The reason why it has yet to start is because I put up the wrong version. You see, it’s still in Beta. It is almost ready once the patch has installed. Also, no strawberries included. What? TSA can’t afford it due to someone blowing the budget on Wine Gums, Chips, PG Tips, pies, scotch eggs and crumpets.
Also, E3 is almost here? I bet lots of stuff is revealed, shown or happens.
This journalism thing is rather easy. Just make it all up. :P *is hired by IGN* :O
Also, no Ghostbusters thread? I merely made that just to pad out the forum. Yet, no-one is really taking part in the threads and…
*GASPS* NO MENTION OF THE TEA THREAD!? YOU BASTARD!
