The Latest Prey Trailer Explores The History Of TranStar And Talos I

Russia made contact with non-terrestrial life back in the late 50s, in the alternate history behind the upcoming Prey reboot, but what they found exceeded what they were able to contain and study. So they turned to the USA for help, and together they began to transform the first contact satellite into a sprawling space station. That cooperation only lasted so long, as JFK survived the assassination attempt on his life and the USA assumed control of the programme to study and try to harness the Typhon abilities.

Where does TranStar come into this? They took over the derelict station, thirty years after it had been abandoned by the US government, managing to make great strides in understanding the Typhon abilities in a short space of time. Of course, as we well know, things stop going according to plan…
