Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, it’s a first person shooter take on the classic board game, with elite Terminator soldiers boarding an eponymous space hulk, a smashed together assortment of ships and asteroid the drifts through space. On board, they’ll battle against the iconic Genestealers, in all their forms, as they try to reclaim lost technologies and powerful objects for the Imperium.
Those who pre-order the game – there’s a 15% pre-order discount if you do – will be able to play a little earlier than that. Next week will see a small number of pre-order players in a closed technical beta test, followed by a more open beta for all those who pre-order starting on November 20th. It’s a gradual ramp up to help ensure that the game’s four player co-op is as solid as possible for launch.

The last time i played a Space Hulk game it was the old 2D-corridor-pretending-to-be-a-first-person-game one, early 90’s possibly. This looks pretty good, i might have to check out the console version.
