Guerrilla Games Reveal A Couple Of Details Regarding RIGS Patch 1.06

If you have a VR and enjoy sports then you may be a fan of Guerrilla Games’ RIGS Mechanized Combat League, in which you pilot different mech types in three modes across four arenas. We already know that December will see a new mech introduced as well as a new arena, but that isn’t all the studio has in mind for the game. Posting on the RIGS subreddit over at Reddit a couple of items for patch 1.06 were revealed.

  • Loading times will be reduced.
  • An option to mute Chief.
  • In the post game plane online you’ll be able to see what match type is next and switch rigs accordingly.

Guerrilla are also looking at a way to incorporate Spotify streaming into RIGS, but this will require more time to work out. The studio will be testing and tweaking for this addition but Spotify incorporation won’t happen until Guerrilla is sure that such an addition won’t affect game quality.

  1. Excellent, I have just bought this!

    • It’s great fun, I’ve only just got it myself :)

  2. Nice. I was just perusing Amazon website and I noticed it’s down £37.99 (I was refusing to pay £50 for it.) So I had a look on Amazon Prime Now app and it’s there. So with the £5 off first order from Prime Now my finger accidentally slipped on the order now button. So it should beer here after midday.
A little birthday present to myself.
